American Banker:
Originally hired Peter Scott & Associates in the 13 Western States in 1982. Gross billing was just over $200,000 in 1982. In 1991 when they opened a full-time sales office it had reached almost $2 million. Hired again in 1999 to develop business in Oregon, Washington and Utah, Peter Scott & Associates ran the gross billing from zero to $600,000 in just one year. Once again, a full-time sales representative was added to their staff replacing Peter Scott & Associates.

Canadian Business:
Hired by Rogers Media Publishing in 1997, billings increased from under $25,000 to over $300,000 in just 4 years. Projected 2002 gross is in excess of $400,000.

Weight Watchers:
Hired (for the fourth time since 1964) in 2000 when the magazine re launched, we grew the billings from nothing to over $800,000 in five years. We parted ways in the winter of 2006 on mutual terms.

Industry Week:
Hired effective January 1, 1992, billings were increased from less than $200,000 gross to over $1.6 million in 1998 when a full time sales representative was brought in to cover the territory.

Links Magazine:
Hired in 2001 when there was no business in the territory. In 2004 gross billings were $550,000

Maclean's Magazine:
Peter Scott & Associates has represented Maclean's continuously since 1938. In late 1978 Maclean's changed frequency to become Canada's weekly indigenous news magazine. West coast billings have remained between $500,000 gross and $1 million gross since that time.



Launch Participations


Mutual Funds Magazine:

Mutual Funds was launched in 1994 by a mutual fund newsletter company with a controlled circulation of 325,000 to their newsletter subscribers. Starting with two issues in 1994 and moving to a monthly frequency in 1995, Peter Scott & Associates gross billings reached $2.5 million gross in 1998 when the magazine was sold to Time/Warner when they opened up fully-staffed sales offices in San Francisco and in Los Angeles.

IW Growing Companies:

Launched monthly in 1997 by Penton Publishing Company as a separate edition of Industry Week Magazine, IW Growing Companies targeted to small manufacturing companies to compliment IW. In its first full year, 1998, Peter Scott & Associates gross billings exceeded $400,000 gross. Peter Scott & Associates was replaced by a permanent sales representative in San Francisco in 1999.
